About the Role
We are looking for a Field Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting clinical studies by managing the camera and data capture systems and process the video data for analysis. You will also play an active part in product development and process automation. The position offers a dynamic and hands-on environment, where your technical expertise and people skills will be crucial in contributing to the success of our studies and innovations. Your work will directly impact patient care, helping to revolutionize movement disorder evaluation, diagnosis, and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate camera systems during clinical studies, ensuring optimal performance and processing video data for analysis.
- Identify and implement automation to improve processes.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues in real time to ensure minimal disruption during studies.
- Participate in the product development process, focusing on user-facing aspects of the systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Linux command line; AWS experience is a plus.
- Experience in working with cameras or other hardware systems.
- Strong communication and people skills for user-facing interactions.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python) is a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or 1-3 years work experience in a similar role.

About the Role
We are seeking a Biomedical Data Scientist to bridge the gap between our cutting-edge 3D reconstruction algorithms and meaningful clinical insights. In this role, you will develop methods to translate raw movement data into interpretable signals using supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques, feature engineering, time series modeling, signal processing, and visualization techniques. Your work will directly impact how clinicians assess and treat movement disorders, making complex data actionable and insightful.
What You'll Do
- Develop machine learning models and analytical pipelines to extract clinically relevant insights from 3D movement data.
- Identify key signals and biomarkers using supervised/unsupervised learning and signal processing techniques.
- Design data visualizations and storytelling tools that help clinicians and researchers interpret complex movement data.
- Work closely with product engineering and healthcare providers to refine models and ensure clinical relevance.
- Collaborate with software engineers to directly contribute features, models, and visualizations into our production pipeline.
- Analyze clinical study data and design experiments to validate new insights.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Python and experience with scientific computing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, etc.).
- Strong background in biomedical data science, with experience in human datasets, clinical study data, signal processing, or time series modeling.
- Experience working with clinicians and healthcare providers to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to develop compelling visualizations and narratives from data, making complex concepts accessible.
- A product-focused mindset, ensuring models and insights are useful and impactful for end users.
- PhD or Master’s in biomedical engineering, computational neuroscience, machine learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years of related work experience
Bonus Skills
- Experience with computer vision techniques applied to biomedical data.
- Familiarity with clinical study design and regulatory considerations.
- Prior work with neurological disorders or movement-related research.
